Key Stage 3

Years 7 & 8

 Key Stage 3 at Providence British School includes Years 7 and 8, catering to learners aged 9 to 12 years. At this stage, learners are introduced to a broad and engaging curriculum designed to strengthen foundational knowledge while fostering independence and critical thinking. Year 9 – Junior Secondary Final Year. 

Year 9 at Providence British School comprises learners aged 12 to 14 years. At this stage, learners build upon the knowledge gained in Years 7 and 8, refining their skills and deepening their understanding across all subjects. A key focus of Year 9 is exam preparation, as learners engage in rigorous practice with past papers from Cambridge Checkpoint, Junior NECO, BECE, and ERC. This prepares them for their Junior Secondary external examinations, equipping them with the confidence and knowledge needed to transition into the next academic phase.

Key Stage 4

Years 10 & 11 

at Providence British School includes Years 10 and 11, catering to learners aged 14 to 15 years. Learners are grouped into Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, and Pure Sciences to provide focused instruction that aligns with their academic interests and career aspirations. Alongside their studies, learners begin preparing for external examinations such as IGCSE, WAEC, and GCE, ensuring they are well-equipped for higher education and future opportunities.

 Year 12 

Year 12 comprises learners aged 14–16, marking the final stage of their secondary education. At this level, learners consolidate and expand on all they have studied in previous years, diving deeper into their chosen subjects. They also engage in rigorous preparation for key external examinations, including IGCSE, WAEC, GCE, and Senior NECO, which are essential for university admissions and future career paths.
